For the fourth year in a row, we invite you to join us for a small group motorcoach tour: Up the Great River (Mississippi) to Duluth and Lake Superior. Our home base will be right on the bustling Canal Park waterfront, with stops at the dramatic Split Rock Lighthouse, Mississippi River Museum in Dubuque, Minnesota’s vast Iron Range, and two Apostle Islands cruises. On our way home from the wild and wide open Lake Superior shores, we’ll visit the EAA Experimental Aircraft Museum, Horicon Marsh, and a sampling of downtown Milwaukee’s wonderful urban pleasures. We’ll cover many miles in our spacious air conditioned wifi equipped motorcoach, but we’ll have plenty of time on the water, and exploring along the shorelines. A private concert, and evenings of sharing music and casual gatherings ensure you’ll have a chance to make new friends along the way.

As always, this tour has been arranged by our good friends at Fancy-Free Holidays in Naperville, Illinois. If you are not from Chicago, they have arranged a special rate at a Chicagoland hotel for the evening before departure, and Joann and I may host a pre-tour gathering for those coming from afar.
